Job Description:
The Field Supervisor (FS) must be an experienced service professional with the ability to
support all Home Clean Heroes teams through coaching, work or schedule guidance, and
problem-solving. The Field Supervisor will be an active part of a cleaning team but will split time
as directed by the Owner to accomplish some of the tasks listed below. He or she must be
reliable, well-organized, and customer service-oriented, with good communication and technical
skills.
This is an hourly position that reports to the Owner. As a candidate for the position, you should
possess a diverse set of skills and qualities to effectively fulfill the responsibilities outlined in this
role.
You must be:
- Able to read and write English well.
- Willing to submit to a national background check.
- Comfortable working in a home with pets.
- Willing to travel to the corporate office, located in Virginia Beach, VA for hands-on
training. -
Team-Oriented: Capable of serving as the Lead Cleaning Specialist within a dynamic
team environment. Your ability to collaborate and lead by example will be essential. -
Mentorship and Coaching Skills: Willing and able to provide coaching and training to
all team members as directed by the Owner; this includes training of newly hired
cleaning specialists. Your guidance will contribute to the growth and development of the
team. -
Adaptable and Resourceful: Skilled in re-routing customers, adjusting schedules, and
making calls to customers when necessary. You should be quick to adapt to changes
and resourceful in resolving scheduling conflicts. -
Quality-Oriented: Proficient in conducting quality assurance inspections as directed to
maintain the highest standards. -
Inventory Management: Competent in managing chemical and equipment inventory,
including the ability to accurately assess inventory levels and submit order requests to
the Owner. -
Chemical Knowledge: Knowledgeable about mixing cleaning solutions as needed,
ensuring the safe and effective use of cleaning agents. -
Equipment Maintenance: Skilled in repairing equipment, specifically vacuums, as
needed, or recommending replacement options to the Owner. Basic knowledge of
equipment maintenance is beneficial. -
Vehicle Maintenance: Proficient in basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as filling
fluids, changing tires, and jump-starting vehicles when necessary. This capability will
help ensure the team's mobility. -
Customer Interaction: Able to conduct in-home estimates and effectively communicate
with customers, providing them with a positive experience. -
Communication Skills: Capable of fielding call center information and directing it to the
appropriate team when necessary. Effective communication is crucial for seamless
coordination. -
Observational Skills: Possess the ability to observe team performance and provide
recommendations on staffing and training when necessary. -
Versatile: Willing to take on limited office or other duties as assigned, which may include
laundry management and local marketing.
